Call for Papers

The LAS Executive Committee and the LAS 2012 Conference Committee are delighted to announce this initial call for papers and posters for our 86th Annual Meeting to be held on Date: March 3, 2012 on the campus of Louisiana State University at Alexandria (LSUA).

A comprehensive program is planned, including discipline-focused breakout sessions, student paper/poster competition and a luncheon.

This meeting is an excellent venue to celebrate scientific excellence in Louisiana and to foster discussion among peer groups of scientists. The LAS encourages especially presentations from both undergraduate and graduate students as the annual conference is a supportive environment in which students will have an opportunity to hone their presentation skills, make connections with other scientists in their field, and become informed about study and research opportunities within the State. Your participation is requested not only by your attending but also by presenting a paper or poster in one of 16 conference tracks.
